About Our COACH

Juan Carlos Niño is a former professional Colombian soccer player who was born on April 28th, 1970 in Bogota Colombia. His parents are Luis Eduardo Niño and Blanca Serrano de Niño and he has a sister, Xiomara Niño.

 

At a very Young age, his father encouraged him to pursue his passion for soccer, taking him to all of his soccer practices in all the different teams he participated along with the unconditional support of his mother as well.

 

Having started his soccer training at the early age of 7, he blossomed into a talented and dedicated player by the time he was in his early teens, passing through all the divisions inside one of the most prestigious and well-established teams in Colombia, the soccer club "Los Millonarios".

 

He developed his talents as a mid-fielder where he was soon promoted from the reserve team to the professional team in 1988. Very soon He demonstrated his athletic skills earning his place in the First Team of the City in Bogota, then the Colombian National Team and also the Pre-Olympics qualifiers, the Arabian World Cup qualifiers and the Barcelona Olympics.

 

Juan Carlos Niño was the first professional Colombian soccer player to play in the Chinese League. He also participated in two Libertadores Cups, two Merconorte Cups, one Tecate Cup and the Colombian National Team where he played along of the best Colombian soccer players ever produced.

 

They have been living in Orlando, Florida since 2002. Juan Carlos continue working in the soccer industry, his true passion, as he owns his own soccer academy: The Eagles United Soccer Club, where he hopes to pass on all his knowledge and vast experience to the next generation of soccer players.
